Sonrise Student Ministries

Elevate Teens is more than a gathering, it is a movement toward helping students grow in their faith. In fact, we believe that SONRISE STUDENT MINISTRY could be the most influential force in our community, so we are set on challenging students to grow in their key relationships by reaching those who do not know Christ, equipping them to grow in their faith, and empowering them to share their faith and serve in their community.  We do this through weekly gatherings, relational small groups, serving opportunities, and life-changing special events and retreats.

Wednesday Nights @ 7pm in Teen Center

Elevate Teen Ministries is an awesome place for Middle School and High School students to come and hangout, have fun, meet new friends, and most of all develop a relationship with God. We want you to be able to come and be yourself and meet other students who are doing the same. Keep your eye on this website for Elevate Teen events information, games, and different links, or come by and visit us Wednesdays at 7 pm. Look forward to seeing you there!

Summer Study

The book of Ephesians emphasizes the connection between sound doctrine and right practice in the Christian life. Paul argues that theology is practical and gives us guiding principles to live well. In order to live out God's will for us in our lives practically, we must first understand who we are in Christ.

As we work through the book of Ephesians individually, we will come together collectively to discuss what we have learned and how to incorporate these truths into our daily lives.

Check out our Student facebook page for dates and times (here).

Missions Trip

This year our 6th-12th grade students will have an incredible opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus as they go into local communities to be involved in multiple service projects.  Our goal is to see the Gospel go forth through evangelism and service, to support local churches and organizations who are ministering in their communities, and to provide an environment for our students to grow in their heart for missions.

Students will stay at the church, pack lunches, split into their groups, and head out to their service projects.  We will be involved in multiple service projects in the morning and help run a Camp of Champions outreach camp for kids in the afternoon.  Each night we will come back to the church for dinner and a worship service. We look forward to this week being an exciting, life-changing experience.
